The Mackay Dragon Boat Club Inc was established in August 2007 and operates from the Mackay Yacht club at the magnificent Mackay Marina complex. Through hard work and commitment by its members the club now caters for competitive, social & junior paddling members.
As a Club we are part of the Queensland Dragon Boat Federation. |

Our aims for this season is to establish a strong membership base, we hope to have 100 active members by season’s end, we are striving to have a team or teams competing at Quad Park Kawana Waters on the Sunshine coast in March for the Queensland state titles and again in April for the Australian Titles.
Dragon boating is for everyone and anyone of any age, shape, or size. It is a dynamic, low impact and exciting sport with many opportunities to compete at regional, state ,national and international levels. It’s the fastest growing participation sport in the world. |
